Well, true to form, I haven't made it back here to post......

I actually haven't been reading much as my eye sight is terrible and I am gettiing headaches and it's plain difficult to read....so off to the optometrist I go tomorrow....and a new pair of glasses I will have in about 10 days time....

We just paid for 15yodd's new glasses last month.....at least there are only 2 of us with poor eye sight in this family!

Maybe there'll be a pic of the new look...then again...maybe not!!!

Books

Well in my first post I said that I'd be back with thoughts about what I've been reading lately.....and true to form, I have never got back here to update!

Here's a list of my favourite books from this year..........

The Glass Castle, by Jeannette Walls A bio/memior, rated 4 by me!

The Kite Runner, by Khaled Hosseini, rated 5+++++ awesome book, could not put it down and I read it in one day!

The Time Traveler's Wife, by A Neffenegger, 4.5 fantasy mixed with a compelling love story, awesome!

Water for Elephants, by Sara Gruen, 4

Pillar's of the Earth, by Ken Follett, 3&1/2, what a massive book I found it an enjoyable read....I do like a good 'saga' story.

The Birth House, by Ami McKay 3....stirred up my passion for women to have intervention free births.


Next post will have the books that I didn't finish, or one that were disappointing.
