Good to see you reading a bit Lisa... you must be getting used to your working life now eh? I'm not working and I still don't read as much as you do, lol...
Yep, I am getting use to working life, kinda getting a routine, depends on the hours that I get for work! Yesterday was a quite day, today I've got 3 hours, tomorrow is a longer day...so I'm all over the place still!
Half of a Yellow Sun is my main read, Life of Pi is in the car, so I read bits of it when I've got some free time between clients. The Bill Bryson book is a pick up and read a chapter here and there book....each chapter is a stand alone story/incident...so it's an easy book to have on the back-burner....
Wow! you sure do read a lot of books! I read lots too..........all at the same time. Often I don't finish a book unless it is very good. Usually if I am bored I just read the last chapter to find out what happened! I like to have a book in each room so that I can browse whilst in that particular area of the house. Are you still doing the gym thing?
Re the gym...I took a few months off due to a back injury and then I didn't have the money to pay for my membership....then we were about to move into a new area...but I joined a new gym recently but have yet to get into a regular routine yet...I think that for me getting up early and going before work is the only way that it will work for me....
Re reading.....if a book doesn't grab me within the first 100 or so pages then I usually let it go....I don't have time to waste on reading books that don't interest me.
I've finished Half a Yellow Sun...loved it! I will hopefully get time to do a review later this week.
Wow, you've always amazed me with your reading! If ever I need a good book to read I know by visiting your blog or old posts I'll find something to enjoy.
